Position Summary:

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we design, deploy, and operate scalable AI workloads. You will create seamless deployment pipelines in Azure, optimize compute-intensive AI/ML systems, and ensure that our infrastructure is robust and secure. Your impact will be felt across business lines, as you enable faster innovation, reliable platform operations, and enterprise-grade deployment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD (constant integration / constant deployment) pipelines on Azure for application and AI/ML (machine learning) workloads.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize workloads on MCP (model context protocol) servers and distribute compute clusters to support data and AI functions.
- Automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring of infrastructure using IaC (infrastructure as code) tools.
- Collaborate with application and support teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.
- Apply DevOps and SRE (site reliability engineer) principles to maintain availability, scalability, and performance across services.
- Establish incident response playbooks, monitoring, and alerting strategies.
- Drive continuous improvements in automation, release velocity, and system resiliency.
- Ensure infrastructure aligns with enterprise security, governance, and compliance standards (e.g., PII handling, encryption, secrets, and identity management).
- Embed guardrails to operationalize responsible and auditable AI workflows.
- Administration and maintenance of the AI systems, hosting, configuring, securing the data and access and implementing best practices.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
- Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (VMs, Networking, AKS, (Azure Kubernetes), Storage, Security).
- Deep expertise in Linux environments including automation and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes, AKS).
- Experience with CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
- Proficiency with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, YAML).
- Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM (identity access management), networking, and compliance.
- Familiarity with MCP servers and AI/ML (machine learning) pipelines.
- Experience working with LLMs or collaborating with ML (machine learning) teams.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing (Advanced English level).
